The Mexican Revolution began on November 20, 1910, fueled by widespread dissatisfaction with the policies of President Porfirio Diaz, who favored wealthy elites at the expense of the working and rural poor. The portrait of Benito Juarez, Mexico’s first indigenous president, symbolized a return to the people's rights and a stark contrast to the oppressive regimes that followed him.

All purchases include a Certificate of Authenticity.
